This website is the online version of the Cayman Islands Government Cayman Spirit weekly publication. The homepage shows the current issue. The archive provides a weekly view of the previous issues.

Page layout

Pages on the site conform to a standard format. Pages are designed to best display with a monitor set at a screen resolution of 800 x 600 pixels (or higher).

The banner menu provides links to the main areas from each page of the site. Click on the Government crest (in the top left corner) to return to the homepage.

Below the banner, except on the home page, is a navigation section, called breadcrumbs, showing the current position within the hierarchy of the site and providing links back to other pages in the same area. For example:

At the foot of each page is information on the date the page was published or last modified, the primary contact details for Government Information Services, and other useful links, e.g. access keys, feedback, and terms and conditions.

The right column, except on the homepage, shows a local menu specific to the section of the site currently being visited.

Abbreviations and acronyms

Pages and documents may contain unfamiliar abbreviations and acronyms. Please review the glossary of abbreviations and acronyms for clarification.
